i'm young, i'm not sure what i'm doing with myself yet. I'm trying to gain more life experiences hoping that it will help direct my path. I am taking general ed in school right now. I LOVE my job. I recently went swimming in the ocean for the first time in 10 years and would like to do it again! (i know that's totally lame because i live in the OC). So I've realized lately I need to write slightly more than the required 100 characters to help "weed out" so to speak the douche-bags that are messaging or winking at me. I'll explain to the best of my ability myself, to you my new friends.
I have absolutely no idea who I am yet.
I'm just finally accepting that and recently I have completely changed my structured boring life to that of a carefree existence in hopes of figuring out who I am. Hence, my reason on here. I'm not looking for relationships, per se. I more want to find people who are fun, and cool, and will be a blast to hang out with. I used to go to community college hoping for a major in Art but I never really got great grades and I had horrible attendance so I dropped out. I've always worked full time, most recently as a Veterinary Technician in small animal practices for the last 3 years. I recently figured out that no matter how long or hard I work, I still am going to get shit for pay, and in the end really not go anywhere in life except maybe slightly less in debt so I quit. Since then I've been just hanging out with my two awesome dogs and/or friends and my fun roommate. I also am an avid reader, constant marijuana user, yoga lover but I'll admit I'm lazy and don't do it often, vegetarian (but I eat fish), music lover. I dabble in drugs, never anything too crazy though. I have a very stubborn attitude, and a borderline personality.

I'm confident and positive, with a very well established career. I have a sharp wit, and anyone appreciating sarcasm will not be disappointed. I care deeply for those closest to me and I like to take care of others. I am honest and compassionate and you never need to guess where you stand with me. I prefer to be humble and you won't hear me brag. I'd rather just prove myself than to "talk big."

I've always enjoyed the idea of it's not where you are but who you're with. I have a very karmic view of things. I love books and film. i'm an aspiring writer. I have a half finished novel that hasn't seen love in a couple of years. There's always been issues with my writing and the finding out how things end part of it.

I love movies, just about anything except for the really sappy romantic comedies that are written like hallmark cards. I love bad movies really terrible ones as well, they let me know that I could too write even a bad movie and have it appear in a theater near you. (I'm of course hoping for slightly better than that.)

Religion-wise i don't really consider myself an anything. I kind of think most religions have part of it right but all miss the big picture. I do believe in past lives. I think good should be done for it's own sake and not because you're afraid of being punished or think you had to do it. Don't do things with a heavy heart. I have trouble adding fun, punch and quirky when writing about myself. This is the first draft of what I hope will get better. I'm sad that there's very little modern rock that's worth listening too. I'm tall, I'm out of shape, not awful but I could lose a few.

Hii! I spend a lot of time reading cheesy romances...they make me smile. I watch a little too much television, eat too many carbs, and have too many cats. I consider myself a walking oxymoron. I'm decently athletic but consider myself a complete nerd (dangerously nerdy); volunteer at the animal shelter but enjoys a nice bloody steak. Basically, I want to experience everything at least once.

Overall, I'm a very fun outgoing person, but I have a sweet sarcastic side to me as well. Down to earth and a decent person.

I didn't take the easy path in life. I left a full-ride scholarship to be a Marine. Shortly after I got out, I started my own business and sold it within several months. I was young and didn't know the value of money at the time. Things have always come very easily to me, so it took me quite a while to learn to appreciate several facets of life. I'm a very honest and loyal person, which can be hard since many others aren't. I don't think I'm the perfect catch, but I do believe I'm perfect for someone. I would find a way to stop time, if that's what the person I loved asked for. I've even amazed myself at what I can accomplish when I'm determined.

I just moved here from Northern Virginia. Part of the "new me" I want to build here is putting the effort into finding somebody. I'm pretty shy at first, and it's hard for me to start convos with someone I've just met. But, if I'm really interested, I'll actually force myself to try and keep the convo going.

I like the usual things, going out for coffee, food, movies, the beach (I love sunsets at the beach), cars (yes, seriously), drawing, making jewelry, music, shopping (but I wouldn't call myself a shopoholic), I'm a loser and went to AX last year and dressed up as Tifa from FFVII: Advent Children, oh, so I also like video games and MMORPGS, and I'm constantly on the computer...I can't think of anything else .__.

I want to get out more, but I'd rather be out with someone than alone (friends basically went poof). I don't like big groups unless it's a small group of friends and I'm not the partying type.

Well it's hard to "summarize a life", especially to summarize your own. I'm a scientific technician, which basically means I have a science degree but don't get to use it everyday. I have a steady well paying job. I have a small circle of relatively sociable friends with nerdy pursuits. I'm a huge sci-fi, fantasy, and horror film fan. Like any fanatic I enjoy them more than I should. I'm not the most nurturing of people but I have my moments.

My favorite thing to eat is peanut butter. I can watch seinfeld forever. I love to run. I like to joke around a lot. I'm very very smart.
