Photographic Art Club Monthly Meetup
The photo assignment for September is Back to School and and Tall Ships Festival. Members can bring one picture for each assignment to be critiqued by our judges. This is a great way to learn how judges look at your images and how you should start to look at them to objectivelly see if the image is ready or needs additional work. You can also bring your monthly best image to share. These are not critiqued or judged. We have monthly photo trip(s) which offer you the chance to get out and photograph a number of subjects. Often, the trips are in support of the monthly photo assignment. Our next photo trip is to the Eastern Sierra to photograph the fall Golden Aspen and Mono Lake. The trip starts Oct 15 for three days. During the Photo Club meeting, we have presentations and demo's that will expand your knowledge. We try to have a balance of artistic and technical subjects to keep it interesting. Finally, we have a social period where we network and discuss things of interest. We have mentors to help you understand the club and find your way around.
